Help Macy Battle a Brain Tumor
Donation protected
For those fortunate enough to know our niece Macy, know she is one of the kindest, caring, compassionate, hard-working 22-year-olds to grace this earth. After graduation, Macy made it her goal to help others and obtained her CNA. Her work ethic, kind heart and ability to maintain unconditional positive regard for others have made her a favorite among her patients. Macy intends to advance her career and obtain her RN if the future allows.
Macy has struggled with migraines since 2018. Recently, Macy has been experiencing an increase in symptoms. Due to the rise in symptoms, an MRI was conducted on July 8th. On July 15th, Macy received the devastating news that she has a gyrus enlargement, inflammation on her parietal lobe, and glioma (brain tumor).
Macy then received an emergency referral to a neurologist. After seeing the neurologist, it was confirmed that she would need brain surgery to remove the tumor as soon as possible. Surgery will be scheduled at her next appointment on August 4th. Once removed, the tumor will be biopsied to rule out the possibility of cancer.
Macy is fortunate enough to have medical coverage through her work but will still face significant medical expenses. All proceeds raised will cover her medical and living costs while she heals. Macy will also be out of work for weeks while she recovers.
Throughout this experience, Macy has remained optimistic. She is appreciative and grateful for any support and all support.
