Macy and Jordan are facing something no parents ever want to hear. Macy is 19 weeks pregnant with twin boys and has been diagnosed with Stage 2 Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS). This condition causes one baby to receive more than he should, while the other isn’t getting enough.

Right now, Baby B is struggling—his fluid levels are low, and he isn’t as active as his brother. Baby A, meanwhile, is receiving more blood and fluid than he needs. Both babies are affected, and without quick intervention, their health is at serious risk.

The next step is surgery in Houston, Texas, which could give both boys the chance to grow healthy and strong. Things are moving very quickly, and Macy and Jordan don’t know yet how long they’ll need to stay in Texas or exactly what the journey will look like. What they do know is that the costs of travel, lodging, food, time away from work, and medical bills will add up fast.
