I am a grandma to a precious little girl named Mackenzie. I'm asking for your help today, because this brave, beautiful, smart, kind, and fun-loving little girl was tragically hit by a truck, and passed away on October 10th; just one day after our community went through Hurricaine Milton.
Mackenzie was just seven years old, and had just started second grade. She loved coloring, playing games like 'pretend' (she loved pretending to own and manage stores, and teach classes), dancing, and was even learning to swim. She was good at everything she tried, and was a free spirit. She was so creative, and always thought of such fun games to play with the people she loved most, including her baby sister, Isabel.
MacKenzie's family, especially her parents, need your help. Not only have they received physical damage from the Hurricaine to their home, but they've now received an enormous amount of pain to their hearts. I can not begin to understand the turmoil they're currently going through. What they're thinking, and inevitably feeling. Even beginning to think about finances they're struggling with, damages from Milton, and preparations for their little girl is a lot for them. Please help me bring some peace to my son, the love of his life, and their entire family. They need us during these extremely hard times, and we would all be so grateful. Thank you all so much for your time, help, and support. Anything you can do would mean so much to them, and all of us.
