My name is Mackenzie, and I am 28 years old, living solo for the first time after surviving a rare nerve sheath tumor and years of chronic illness. I'm doing my best to rebuild from the ground up, but I'm facing urgent financial hardship, and I need your help.

Since the beginning of 2025, I've undergone spinal surgery to remove a tumor, struggled with multiple diagnoses, and have been navigating the US healthcare system. Unfortunately, during this process, I lost my job. I've been trying to push through it all while applying for assistance, doing DoorDash, and managing my mental and physical health, but things have reached a breaking point. My utilities are months behind, and my internet has now been shut off.

I'm asking for $3,000 (as required by GoFundMe) to help me catch up on my bills while I recover and get back on my feet. If I were to exceed that $3,000 goal, I'd use the extra to catch up on credit card payments, student loans, medical bills, etc., bills that have gone by the wayside during this hardship. I am moving forward with my application for disability, but I am still actively looking for a job that I am capable of doing despite my disabilities.
