Help Mackenzie Kuta’s fight against leukemia!

On October 14th 2023, Mackenzie was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia and was quickly put on a very aggressive treatment.  Mackenzie is 20 years old and sadly had to withdraw from school, putting her studies at Western Kentucky University, where she was a Junior, to a halt.
She was involved with many organizations and was always able to lend a helping hand to her friends or anyone who needed it. Now she needs your help.
After spending a little over a month in the hospital and then going to rehab at Frazier to regain the muscle in her legs that were lost due to the chemo and medications, she is now back at home! The treatment plan that Mackenzie is on is going to be a long road, having 2 years of heavy outpatient chemotherapy left. She has been amazingly strong and ready to fight through every minute of it.
 On top of all of the hospital and cancer center visits, the medical bills are coming in very fast and Mackenzie’s family could really use your help with donations as much as y'all can. The money raised with this gofundme will go straight and ONLY to the medical expenses.
Mackenzie has been working as long as she has been able and enjoys her work, but the bills are in her name and she can no longer work for the time-being due to the treatment. Her parents are doing the best they can, but don’t want to hurt her credit at such a young age.
Even though they have tried many times, she didn’t qualify for disability so her parents are not able to use that resource. This has already been a very long, stressful, and emotional road but we are all praying everyday for a full recovery and trying to see the positives in small everyday things.
