On April 14th 2025, MacKenzie was diagnosed with Stage 2B Invasive Lobular Carcinoma. May 1st 2025, she underwent a bilateral double mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. Final pathology determined the need for chemotherapy, radiation and long term hormone therapy to reduce risk of reoccurrence.

I’ve created this GoFundMe to help cover the growing costs of living and medical expenses. Your support will go directly toward things like rent, utilities, groceries, transportation to and from treatments, and out-of-pocket medical bills. While going through treatment, MacKenzie will be unable to work with the consistency she had prior to diagnosis and treatment. She fully intends to return to work when feeling stronger, but right now her focus has to be on healing.
