Help Mackenzie and Her Family Heal

Donation protected
My name is Sarah, a friend of Mackenzie.

I am asking for support for Mackenzie and her family during her fight against sepsis.

Mackenzie, a loving mom, devoted wife, dedicated social work student at the University of Kentucky, and active member of her church community, is currently facing a serious battle with sepsis. She has been hospitalized and will need to stay under medical care for at least 10 days to recover.

As a mother of four beautiful children, including a one-month-old baby, this unexpected medical emergency has placed an immense strain on her family. Her husband will understandably have to take time off work to care for her and their children, which will undoubtedly create financial and emotional challenges during this already difficult time.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help alleviate some of the financial burden her family will be facing. Your contributions will go toward covering medical expenses, childcare, daily living costs, and any other needs they encounter during her recovery.

Mackenzie is a selfless woman who gives her all to her family, her studies, and her faith. She is deeply involved in her church, where she has built a community that she cares for and supports. Now, she needs that same support to focus on healing and returning to the people and community who mean so much to her.

Any donation, no matter the size, will make a difference and bring her family closer to overcoming this challenging chapter. If you’re unable to give, sharing this fundraiser with others would mean the world to us.

Thank you for keeping Mackenzie, her family, and their church community in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
