Two years ago, on March 22, my life changed dramatically. I suffered a severe accident that fractured my spinal cord and five ribs, and punctured one of my lungs. On top of that, I have been managing diabetes and heart failure, which has made recovery even more challenging. Over the past two years, I have used up all my savings and stocks to hire workers and repair the equipment needed to keep my wood business running. Despite my best efforts, my strength and ability to do physical work are still limited, and it has been tough to keep up with the demands of my business and support my family.

My wood business is more than just a job—it's a way I serve my county and community, providing firewood for camping and milling wood for table tops and specialty lumber. I love what I do, but right now, I am hanging by a shoestring. Some of the funds raised will go toward paying bills for my house and medicine, while the rest will help me ramp up operations, wrap firewood, and continue milling wood for my customers.
