We never do anything like this, but we have been told that my husband's service dog, Mack, needs surgery. He needs to have a growth removed from one of his legs. The vet said it may be cancerous, but we have to remove it first to see what it is. Mack is essential to our family, especially my husband and my sons, whom he is trained to help.
