My name is Crystal. I work at NIH with Maci, one of our amazing CNAs. She has been out of work since October for a work-related injury that occurred in May. She has been working hard to do physical therapy and was set to get surgery to fix her injury, but the orthopedic surgeon that was going to fix it, resigned. She has run out of funds and is not able to work as a CNA on the floor and so far has been denied to come back as just a unit clerk.

She is late on monthly bills, medical bills, and just basic daily living expenses. She is also close to losing her home because of how much this has set her back. She is asking for any help at all to get her through this next month, or potentially next few months.
