We’re incredibly proud to share that our 10-year-old son, known as “Maceman the Ninja,” has officially qualified for the USA OCR National Team and will be competing at the World Championships in Ireland this August! This will be his second year in a row qualifying, and last year he finished 3rd in the world at the FINA World Finals—an experience that only fueled him even more. He’ll be competing in the 100m, 400m, and 3K OCR races, and if you know him, you know this isn’t luck. He trains every single day, putting in the sweat, discipline, and effort it takes to compete at this level. He’s not just talented—he’s driven, focused, and has that rare “never quit” mindset. The kind of work ethic you don’t teach… it’s just in him. He truly has that Kobe Bryant–type drive to be great.
Representing Team USA on the world stage is an incredible honor, but it also comes with significant travel costs—flights, lodging, competition fees, and more. We’re asking for help from friends, family, and anyone who wants to support a young athlete chasing a big dream. Every donation—big or small—helps get him one step closer to competing against the best in the world and proudly representing Team USA. If you can’t donate, sharing this post means just as much to us.
Thank you for being part of his journey—we’ll be sharing updates along the way as we head toward August!
