Hi everyone,

Meet Macaroni, my beloved 8-year-old “Perma Puppy.” Mac has brought so much joy, love, and laughter into my life. But right now he needs some medical care, and I’m reaching out for help.

What’s Happening:
Mac needs a heart murmur scan and essential dental work. Heart murmurs in dogs can vary—some live long, happy lives, while others may face challenges. Second, good dental health is critical for Mac since it impacts his overall well-being. Before the procedure, his vet will be able to check for any other health concerns while he’s under anesthesia!

Why Mac Is So Special:
Mac wasn’t always Baby. He came all the way from Arkansas before settling in NYC. I saw his picture on Pet Finder and instantly knew, “That’s my son.” After a long drive to Connecticut and a meeting in a very suspicious parking lot in the middle of nowhere, I brought him home. He was shy at first—so quiet and reserved—but within a week, he found his confidence and has been Baby ever since.

Here are a few things that make Macaroni who he is:

• He’s not great at fetch. He’ll demand you throw the toy but will never bring it back.

• Weighing just 9 lbs, he’s smaller than most cats

• He’s a terrible guard dog—he’ll bark to announce an intruder, then immediately love them.

• He’s obsessed with fruits and veggies, especially cucumbers!

• He loves being carried in his bag, which he considers his “home.”

How You Can Help:
Your support will go directly toward Mac’s medical care, including the heart murmur scan, dental work, and related health evaluations. Any funds raised beyond the goal will be used for preventative care to keep Mac healthy and happy for years to come.
