My name is Mac and I'm in need of help.

Paying off existing medical debt and saving for my third and (hopefully) final surgery have been my biggest goals of the past year. I need a hysterectomy! (In this economy??) Unfortunately, yes! After ~15 years of turbulent and life-interrupting symptoms and complications from poly-cystic ovarian and paraovarian syndrome, endometriosis, premenstrual dysphoric disorder and dysmenorrhea, you can imagine how ready I am to move on and feel better. Despite my extensive history and full support from my doctor and surgeon, this surgery was denied by my insurance. I am in the appeals process but I'm also preparing to adjust my goal and bare the cost of this out-of-pocket.

Anything you can spare is meaningful and will support me with copays, cost of living, lingering debt from previous treatment and much needed items to keep me comfortable and financially afloat while healing and off work.

I'm so looking forward to what life has to offer on the other side of this.
