Help Mac Make Their House a Home

With a tremendous amount of support from those deceased and living, I bought my first house. It took every dime that I had, so I now need to raise about $20,000 by October 1st to make this house a home.

I didn't count on needing to replace the floor vent, or add a new coat of paint, or do any of the other necessary repairs before I can move in. I didn't consider that I'd need to replace couch I've been sleeping on since my wife, Alana, died 2 1/2 years ago, or that I might need a bed (I haven't had one since I lost her).

Becoming a homeowner is a big change, something I'd planned to do with the love of my life. Now that I am doing it alone, I'm a little lost. Alana was the one who knew how to make a home, not me. Yet, I have a house that needs to become a home I can live in. I'm not sharing this fundraiser widely because this pandemic has left us all broke as hell, and I am kind of embarrassed to be asking.
