Hello. My name is Mabry Moller-Jacobs, and I am a 25-year-old transgender woman. Throughout 2022, I have been burdened with several economic crises culminating in a hospitalization. Though life-saving, this hospitalization has shackled me with incredible medical debt that I am struggling to pay off. Despite my best efforts to fight the cost, I'm now at the mercy of a collection agency, and the interest is set to skyrocket if I don't get a handle on it soon.

I was set to return to school after a 7-year hiatus next summer, but with these expenses, I may be forced to delay my education further. Though I am employed, I have less than $3000 in my bank account, with the debt currently sitting at $6800. My wages will not be enough to cover this alongside other expenses, and the debt could quickly get out of control.
