Hi, my name is Filaree and I'm fundraising for my friend Linda, her daughter Mabel and their family. On June 5th -- completely out of the blue -- it was confirmed that Mabel has AML type leukemia. Mabel is a brave little fighter (like her mom!) and she started an aggressive treatment a few days later. She has been living in her new 'home' ever since, accompanied at all times by one of her loving parents...while the other spends time with Mabel's younger sister Sami (who is really missing her sister).

Mabel has almost completed the first round of treatment and the results have been positive (bravo!). An important milestone -- for sure -- but the journey is not over. The inpatient treatment will continue over 5 months and Linda and her husband Tim will be there with Mabel every step of the way.

Many of you have asked me how you can support Linda, Mabel, Sami and Tim and so I'm starting this 'Help Mabel heal' fundraising effort as a way to provide some lift over the next several months. If you'd prefer to support in a different way (sending a loving card or small gift for Mabel and Sami), please do feel free. It all matters.
