Help Us Get to We the People Nationals in Washington, D.C.

Hi, my name is Mabel Nestere, and I am part of my high school’s We the People team! This year, we competed in the state finals and proudly placed 4th. While we didn’t officially qualify for Nationals, our school is giving us the incredible opportunity to attend—if we can fundraise the money to cover the trip!

I need to raise $1,800 to cover my expenses for the trip to Washington, D.C. The funds will go toward travel, lodging, and meals for the duration of the event.

Why support us?

We the People is more than a competition. It’s an opportunity for students like me to deepen our understanding of the Constitution, hone our public speaking skills, and participate in meaningful discussions about the government and democracy. At state, I had the time of my life, and I don’t want the journey to end here!
