El 17 de Marzo, nuestro querido primo, sobrino, amigo e hijo, Juan Luis Cervantes (39 años), fue víctima de un trágico accidente. Fue atropellado, cuando simplemente movía su carro en San Francisco, CA. El conductor huyó de la escena y, hasta el día de hoy, no ha sido identificado.
Juan Luis es un hijo, sobrino, primo y amigo increíble. Siempre ha sido una persona trabajadora, apasionada por el gimnasio, amante de la aventura y de gran corazón, cuyo mayor objetivo ha sido apoyar y proveer para sus padres en México. Cualquiera que conoce a Juan Luis sabe de su generosidad, su fortaleza y el gran amor que tiene por sus padres.
Estamos profundamente agradecidos con los increíbles socorristas que actuaron rápidamente para brindarle la atención inmediata que necesitaba y asegurarse de que fuera sometido a una cirugía de emergencia de inmediato. Sus acciones rápidas marcaron una diferencia crucial.
Como resultado de este devastador incidente, Juan Luis sufrió un trauma cerebral severo y ahora enfrenta un camino largo e incierto hacia su recuperación. Su proceso requerirá atención médica extensa, rehabilitación y apoyo continuo.

He has always been a hardworking, gym enthusiast, adventure lover, kind-hearted person whose biggest goal has been to support and provide for his parents in Mexico. Anyone who knows Juan Luis knows his generosity, his strength, and the love he has for his parents. We are grateful for the incredible first responders who acted quickly to get him the immediate care he needed and ensure he underwent emergency surgery right away. Their quick actions made a critical difference. As a result of this devastating incident, Juan Luis suffered severe brain trauma and now faces a long and uncertain road to recovery. His journey will require extensive medical care, rehabilitation, and ongoing support. During this incredibly difficult time, our family is doing everything we can to be there for him.
