M and her husband S came here with their two children seeking a safe haven from violence in Ecuador. They tried to cooperate with US authorities and attended their ICE check-ins but on their February 19 2026 check-in, S was taken without warning in front of his family. In detention S was moved around the country and now faces a deportation order, while M still struggles to make contact with him.

M is now the sole breadwinner for and caregiver of her children, aged 7 and 8. She works 6 days a week and faces high transportation costs to maintain her employment on the other side of the city. M must cover all rent and utility fees and provide food for her family under impossible conditions.

M y su esposo S vinieron acá con sus dos hijos buscando seguridad de la violencia en el Ecuador. En su cita de 19 de febrero de 2026 le llevaron a S sin advertencia en frente de su familia. En la detención le movieron a S alrededor del país y ahora enfrenta una orden de deportación, mientras que M continúa luchando para comunicarse con el.

Ahora M es la única persona sosteniendo la familia y cuidando sus hijos, de 7 y 8 años. Trabaja 6 días de la semana y enfrenta costos altos de transporte para mantener su empleo an otro lado de la ciudad.
