Hi Everyone!

I’m raising money for my moms medical and living expenses while she fights liver cancer and after life burial costs

My mom - Maria - was diagnosed with liver cancer in late May of 2023 she’s has undergone specialized treatments and chemotherapy since and was listed for a liver transplant which takes about 2 years to receive. Recently as of February 2024 her cancer has been aggressive and is growing rapidly and has spread to her bone and is now effecting other parts of her body where she is no longer able to walk without assistance. This week we learned she is no longer a candidate for a liver transplant and the conversation has now switched to how long we can prolong her life with radiation treatments comfortably until her fight is over. As of today 3/7/2024 the doctors are giving her 3 months to live :'( 

The funds will be used for her living expenses and medical bills since she is no longer able to work. The majority of the funds will go to after life expenses. 

My mom has had a hard life coming to the US without parents, overcoming addiction, having the hardest job which is a caregiver to hospice patients , having her partner pass away from cancer, and now battling her own while knowing she won’t be there for her grandchildren Jayden (7) and Gigi (3) see them grow up. Our family is small and we don’t have many contributing functioning family members. I hate this for her but I want to make the remaining time she has left the most comfortable any remaining amount will cover after life expenses since we did not expect to lose our mom so soon.

My mom is such a strong and vital part of our family she does everything for us. Losing her will be a big change for my family as she helps everyone day to day. I wish I could support her and everyone but this year has been a rough start. I ask if anyone can donate in my small network or community if you can would mean the world and make a huge difference in our family
