Hello family friends,

Along with many other people in our town we’ve all lost something in this devastating fire that burnt the community of Lytton.

The day of the fire, after making sure Dylan’s family was safe, Dylan Phillips showed amazing courage and bravery by returning to the fire and fought the blaze with us for a number of hours.

This was a crucial moment and saving ours and our neighbours homes. Dylan was hero that night and despite the fact that he saved our houses, he still can’t go home. This family is facing huge huge amount of uncertainty, they have 3 children that will need home care has their school and daycare has been ripped out of their lives, Dot won’t be able to work as she will have to care for the kids, Dylan has also lost his job. The Phillips’s family need your help. Anything would help

You can read their story below ⬇️

«Dylan and Dot were born in Lytton and have lived most of their lives in Lytton B.C. Growing up they were good friends at first until meeting each other again in 2018, ever since then they’ve been together and are raising three beautiful children.

They have recently just got married in May of 2021 but have been living together as a family since December 2020.

With the help of family and friends they moved into our house, as Dylan had starting working for the village of Lytton in Public Works and was training to become the next Water Treatment Operator for the town. Dot had worked part time for Klowa but due to Covid she has since been let go.

We are a family and this was our first step into providing a good future for our children, the house was quite old being built in the 1920’s but it was new to us and gave us room to grow as a . The was our beginning, our first chapter of our life story, we pictured years in the house at least enough to help us get to our next step. 7 months in our own place really makes your imagination go and help set your dreams into reality but that’s all we had was those 7 months as the fire literally forced us out of not only our home but our town as well.»
