Hello, My name is Lynx. I've had dislocating knee caps in both legs since I was 7 months old. Mom has been taking care of me and monitoring this congenital disorder. In November 2021, I got spooked by something & because of the scaredy-cat that I am, I bolted off the bed & further injured my left knee. Since then, my quality of life has severely decreased and I can't walk without a severe limp, jump or chase my sister Xena, which is one of my favorite activities. Mom finally got me in to see an orthopedic surgeon vet, and we found out I tore my ACL (Like mommy like kitty, am I right?), along with grade 3 dislocating knee caps which means the knee cap cannot relocate unless forced. Eventually, I will have to have surgery on my right knee as well. My parents decided that due to my decreased quality of life, along with the vet's recommendation, it's time to have surgery to fix my ACL and dislocating knee caps. Please help my parents get me this surgery so I can climb my favorite cat trees and chase my sister again like I used to.
