Hi, my name is Sydne, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my incredible mom, Lynnette. She’s one of the hardest-working, most selfless people I know. She’s spent her life taking care of others — including my grandmother, who’s lived with us rent-free for the past 30 years — and now, we’re asking for help to take care of her.

Our family is currently facing eviction, and we need to raise $6,500 within the next 30 days to keep our home. It’s been a difficult year with several events piling up all at once:

Earlier this year, my mom suffered a serious fall that required surgery, making it hard for her to work at her usual pace.

The car sales industry, where she works full-time, has been hit hard by economic instability, with fewer people buying cars.

On top of that, she was the victim of a hacking scam that drained $5,000 from her account — money we couldn't recover.

Despite everything, my mom has continued to push through, rarely taking a sick day, doing her best to support not only herself but me, my godmother, and my grandmother, all under one roof. Now, we’re just weeks away from losing our home.
