Hi everyone,

I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, but life has thrown our family a curveball. My mom, Lynne Capece Troelstrup, was recently diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer, and we’re still trying to wrap our heads around it.

If you know my mom, you know she’s the kind of person who lights up any room. She’s always been there for everyone, whether it’s family, friends, or even strangers who just needed a little kindness. She’s our hero, our best friend, and the glue that holds our family together.

The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of doctor visits, and tests. Watching her go through this has been so hard, but she’s facing it with incredible strength and courage. Still, cancer is a tough battle, and it’s taken a toll on all of us, emotionally and financially.

That’s why I’m reaching out. The costs of treatment, medications, and getting to and from appointments are going to pile up fast. Insurance will help, but it wont cover everything. We want to make sure our mom can focus on getting better, not worrying about bills.
