Help Lynn Nordhus Through Her Recovery Journey

Donation protected
Hi, this is Kim Silveira and Laurie Kriet, and we are retired RNs from French Hospital. Our dear friend, Lynn Nordhus, who is a long-time RN at French Hospital, has served our community for many years. She was initially diagnosed in 2022 with two types of cancer in her lung: ALK-positive non-small cell adenocarcinoma and adenoid cystic (salivary gland tumor). She was transferred from French Hospital to UCLA for treatment. She had a prolonged stay at UCLA in the ICU and then transferred to a local rehab to continue her recovery.

She returned to work at French in August of 2022 and resumed her prior position as a Nurse Educator. She continues to receive treatment for the adenocarcinoma. Despite receiving radiation therapy for the salivary gland tumor, it has grown and now requires surgical removal. She is now faced with the removal of her right mid and lower lobes of her lung at Stanford Hospital. She will require time off for a prolonged recovery and will be unable to work for an indeterminate time.

We are asking for donations to help Lynn and her family through this difficult time. We appreciate any size donation that will help with Lynn's recovery.
