Help Lynn Kinne Kick Cancer
In June of 2020, Lynn heard the words from his doctor that no one wants to hear… he has advanced stage rectal cancer. Since receiving that diagnosis Lynn has begun the fight of his lifetime. He has maintained a positive attitude and outlook on his battle, even giving his tumor a name. He calls it Boomer, because it rhymes with tumor and it reminds him of the Oklahoma Sooners, whom he strongly dislikes.
Unfortunately, he's had some very negative reactions to his chemotherapy treatments and has been hospitalized twice in the past month. He is facing an upcoming surgery, and more chemotherapy and radiation treatments which require him to drive to and from Lincoln five days a week. Lynn is self-employed and does not have any paid sick leave or time off from work. At this time, he is no longer working due to the side effects he is experiencing.
Many of his friends and family have offered their support and prayers, but some have also asked to contribute to help out financially. If you feel compelled to do so, please donate whatever you can to help Lynn with mounting medical bills and to be able to continue to support his wife and two sons while he is unable to work. Your generosity is deeply appreciated, as are all of your prayers and words of encouragement. Let’s help Lynn kick cancer and get rid of Boomer for good!
Thank you and God Bless you all for your continued support for Lynn, Katie, Cooper, and Weston.
