They say everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer. It could be your friend's Aunt, your Great Grandmother, or maybe someone even closer. We know someone; it's our mother.
We recently found out our mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. It is type HER-2 and there are numerous lumps. The treatment recommended is chemotherapy and radiation. On top of that she will need to get a double mastectomy.
None of this will be easy, and insurance does pay for a percentage, but not all. No one likes to ask for help, especially in the form of money, but realistically, cancer isn't cheap.
We are asking for help for her treatment and to help cover the wages lost that she will surely endure from missing work.
Cancer is a bitch, but trying to keep up with the bills on top of it makes it a savage bitch. Any help anyone can give, no matter the amount, would be such a relief and greatly appreciated. We want her focused on her health, not her bills.
