Lynette's Surgery Fund

Hi everyone. For those of you who don’t know me yet, I’m a trans woman / writer / dog walker (a triple threat!) living in Brooklyn, NY. I just got notice from my doctor that my bottom surgery will happen in January. I’m ecstatic! This gender affirming surgery is a huge step in bringing my body in alignment with who I am, who I want to be.

As excited as I am, it is a major surgery. To safely and fully recover, I’ll have to avoid strenuous activity for up to 3 months. This means I can't return to my primary source of income, dog walking and pet sitting, for quite some time.
That’s where you come in. Your contribution will help cover my living expenses as I recover, as well as the many hidden costs of transition that I have to pay out of pocket. Your donation will mean that I can safely and securely continue my transition journey.
