Help Lynette get to the USA!!!

Donation protected
Hi, I’m Lynette, and I named Sparrow’s Healing as a tribute to my daughter, Marne. Sparrow was her nickname.

I always wanted to be a vet, but due to our family finances not being the greatest I couldn’t afford to study and had to shelve that idea and go to work right after I finished school.
Years later, in 1989 I had the opportunity to move to a farming community in Limpopo Province (formerly called Mpumalanga). Marble Hall is a small farming town and here I could work with animals at last. My father bought some ground and we started ostrich farming, calling it “Cilabi Ostrich Ranch”.

In 2002 I started doing wildlife rehabilitation as well, after realising that there was a dire need and took in lots of orphaned or injured animals. I soon realised I needed an education in wildlife rehabilitation to ensure that I cared for the orphaned animals in a way that allowed them to return to their own habitat.

I completed several courses and had a lot of help from our local vet and the Onderstepoort Veterinary Hospital. We cared for many young wildlife animals, raising and releasing them into sanctuaries.

In 2008 because of shattering losses sustained due to breakouts of bird flu in previous years, we were forced to sell the ostrich farm.
I could not give up on caring for animals. I started an NPO, rescuing domestic animals from rural areas. Our program to spay domestic animals, preventing them from breeding out of control was expensive and emotionally taxing.

Now I practise zoopharmacognosy allowing animals to self-select from a wide variety of natural remedies, including essential oils.

I now have the opportunity to for the first time ever to travel to the USA for this month of July (9th through the 21st) and attend Young Living's convention in Salt Lake City , with a hands-on farm experience using essential oils and expanding my knowledge in this area!

Im so very excited as my plane ticket has been taken care of, however, visa costs ($300) and other travel expenses for lodging, food and miscellaneous are still needed. I will be traveling and going to this Young Living convention with my friend, Kristina Foster, missionary to Cape Town and who I have been learning about essential oils along side for the past five years.

Together, we figured that if just 10 people would give $100, that would be almost the rest of what is needed for this trip. Or, however the funds come in,we thank you for any consideration you may do in contributing for this once in a lifetime opportunity! Im so excited to see how God raises this amount and blesses each of those who decided to join us financially on this journey!

Love,
Lynette & Kristina
