Single-mum Lynette has Stage 3 Bowel Cancer in the form of an 8 cm tumor she and her four-year old Alex have named Stanley the Tumor. 

The doctors have scheduled an aggressive treatment program of chemo, radiation and surgery in the coming months to give Lynette her only chance at kicking Stanley’s cancerous bum.  Unfortunately, that chance is only at 50% right now due to the size and aggressiveness of Stanley’s growth, and will likely result in a hysterectomy at a minimum.

With on-going treatments and travel each day, Lynette can’t work and government support simply won’t fully cover medical treatment, oncology specialists, living, travel, prescription and child care expenses.  Her friends and small family are helping, but they can only do so much to help when the costs are this high.

Lynette can beat this, she is strong  and determined, and she is a mother.

And as the sole-carer for Alex, she has everything a mother needs to fight for as motivation; the future  and well-being of her only child. 

Lynette needs your help to keep her focus on her health and being there for Alex.  Not trying to pay bills she can’t possibly cover right now.  Her entire world has shrunk down to just two things, protecting Alex and beating Stanley.
