On May 25th, Lyndsey broke both bones in her lower leg in a no-speed motorcycle accident: the clutch popped, she gave it more gas, the bike popped a wheelie, she instinctively put her foot on the ground and the bike came back on her tibia, crushing it on impact. She stayed 4 days and nights in the hospital for her emergency room and 1st trauma surgery and is scheduled for her second surgery in the next week. She will have 2-3 surgeries and eventually, a total knee replacement. Presently, she is receiving dependent-living care and will continue for 8-12 weeks. She is surrounded by a loving community and many are asking how they can help.

Whatever the task is in front of her, she rises to the challenges, often adapting overnight. She is reorganizing her life for the next 6 months and her “I Got This” attitude will serve her well on this journey to recovery.

All donations are going directly to Lyndsey Marie-Holm to help with medical, physical therapy and some relevant living expenses.  As she will be non-weight bearing for the next three months, her main source of income, massage therapy, will be on hold.

What's on the horizon as healing and recovery continue: 
Lyndsey is a life long learner and focused on school as she will be transferring to the U of U in the fall with an emphasis in Social Work. Her dream is to bring compassionate communication and authentic relating to mental health facilities, drug rehabs, the VA and those who are incarcerated. Healing through touch and authentic connection is paramount in her life. She dreams of teaching Thai massage in these facilities, offering compassionate-based touch as a tool and bridge to one's own health and evolution.
