My name is Lyndsay, and I appreciate you taking a moment to learn about my family's need for support during this challenging time.

In early 2024, our lives were turned upside down when I was diagnosed with a large mass compressing my spinal cord and nerve endings. Faced with two difficult choices, we can either do nothing and guarantee paralysis from the waist down within the next ten years, or undergo surgery that could result in immediate paralysis but might preserve some function below the waist.
