If you’ve ever had the privilege of knowing Lyndsay, you already know: she’s the kind of woman who shows up. She shows up with a warm smile and homemade cakes for new moms at the hospital. She shows up with gloves and garden tools to help her neighbors with yard work. She shows up to teach a little girl from the pediatric oncology unit how to decorate cupcakes, bringing comfort and kindness to her and her family as they faced an unthinkable challenge. Now, she’s facing one of her own.
Lyndsay was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and is preparing for a major surgery later in July, followed by a long stretch of recovery and treatment. The diagnosis came just as her home cake business was heading into its busiest season—leaving her unable to work at the very moment her family needs the support most. At home, she’s surrounded by her husband Bryan, a retired U.S. army veteran, and their four beautiful children, all doing their best to navigate this uncertain chapter together. Loved ones near and far are sending love and showing up for her now—just as she’s shown up for so many over the years.
Why We’re Asking for Help
This GoFundMe is here to lighten their load. Your donation will directly support:
• Out-of-pocket costs for surgery and ongoing treatment
• Household expenses while Lyndsay is unable to work
• Childcare, meals, and transportation during recovery
• Peace of mind for a family that’s always given to others without asking for anything in return
A Woman Who’s Always Given—Now Needs Our Support
Lyndsay has built a life around generosity. She’s not the type to ask for help—but I am. Because I know how much she’s poured into her community, her family, and the lives of strangers.
Let’s pour back into her.
Let’s show her that the love she’s shown so many isn’t forgotten.
Let’s remind her that she doesn’t have to walk this road alone. Please give what you can.
Every donation makes a difference—and every share of this link helps us reach more hearts.
With deep gratitude,
Her sister Laura
