Hi, I’m Natalia Miles. My mother is Lynda Miles, also known as “Ms. Lynda” to the community. We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support during an incredibly difficult time. Last year, on March 4, 2024, my mother was hospitalized with COPD/emphysema. She was hospitalized for over 8 months. In the midst of her being hospitalized, she used all of her vacation time. Coworkers in the company donated some of their hours to her for 1 or 2 checks. We greatly appreciated it. She was able to pay some bills with the funds. She hasn’t had any income since May of 2024. My mother wasn’t expecting any of this to happen with the decline in her health so fast. It has been a total impact for this family. She hasn’t worked in over a year nor has she had an income. It’s been a financial struggle for me, as I’m the only child. We have no family here in Texas. On March 7, 2025, my mother suffered a heart attack and was hospitalized for 10 days. She now has been diagnosed with blockage in her heart on both sides, and there is an enormous amount of buildup on the main valve of the heart. Doctors do not want to give her open-heart surgery because of the COPD situation and honestly think she won’t be able to recover. On April 1st, my birthday, she was rushed back to the hospital and has suffered another heart attack. I’m lost for words at this time. This has been a very emotional roller coaster and has left me faced with big decisions about my mother’s level of care and health. I’m asking the community for help as my mother has been in the apartment leasing industry for over 25 years. She has helped so many people in the community with love and compassion. We are asking anyone in the community that’s able to help with any donation. We greatly appreciate it; it will definitely be a load lifted off of me. It’s been extremely hard having to neglect and decide what bills need to be paid. We’ve lost so much this past year. Currently in the process of starting applying filling for her social security which should have started last year. The money will go toward pay bills medical expenses which all aren’t cover under her insurance. Here’s a better photos of my mother and my daughter. This is the imagine everyone remembers of my mother the other photo doesn’t look like the women we all love. Please send prayers so that we can get through the ruff times we’re faced up against. My apt today filled eviction on me knowing everything that’s going on with my mother. I haven’t been able to work because of the situation with her being in the hospital The worrying and constant fear of her leaving us. Her leaving this would be very detrimental to me. I love my mother more than anything . We understand that these are difficult times for many, but any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in my mom’s fight for recovery. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign with your networks. Your prayers, positive thoughts, and words of encouragement are also deeply appreciated.
