Hello, this is Jim Dietrick. I'm hosting this campaign to solicit support for two very good mutual friends of ours, Lyn and Jim Engelkes. As you may or may not be aware, they have fallen on tough times recently. Lyn lost her job about 2 years ago and is in the midst of the very lengthy process to obtain disability benefits. Both have had ongoing health (and dental) issues that are critical and are going unaddressed due to financial constraints. It's my hope to circle the wagons, so to speak, and try to coalesce some much-needed support for two very dear friends in a true time of need. I want to be respectful of privacy and sensitive issues, but I can assure you I would not be taking this step if I didn't believe it was vitally important to do so. I know I have been the beneficiary of their kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity many times over the years, and I welcome the opportunity to be able to do something meaningful for them. I'm hoping you feel the same. Anything will help. I know times are tough and unpredictable, but it's always a great time to help those we love.
