Hi, my name is Michelle. My dog, Lyla, risked her life to save me from a bear attack Monday 8/4/2025. She put herself between me and the bear thus saving my life. She sustained injuries to both back legs (the left is the the worst) he stomach wall was torn and her intestine were not where they should be. She went through surgery early Tuesday morning to fix the damage. There is still a long road ahead which lead me to here. Im in need of help to pay for all the bills that came from this situation. I owe lyla everything she has been the sweetest, loving, best friend I could ask for. Update: lyla went into cardiac arrest and did not make it. Now I owe up to 10,000 for the surgery and now after care plans. Im going to miss my wonderful fur baby my hero.
