First, thank you to everyone who helped make Lyla’s first trip a true once-in-a-lifetime experience. Because of your generosity, she was able to travel, learn, perform, and create memories that will stay with her forever. We are so incredibly grateful for the love and support from our family, friends, and community.
Now, she has one more incredible opportunity ahead.
My daughter, Lyla, a senior at Niceville High School, serves as section leader for flute and piccolo in the marching band and is the principal flutist in the Wind Symphony. In March 2026, she has been invited to perform with the Wind Symphony at the prestigious Percy Grainger Wind Band Festival at Orchestra Hall in Chicago.
This is an extraordinary honor and an unforgettable opportunity to perform on a world-class stage during her senior year.
As with many school trips, students are required to pay their own way. Lyla is participating in every fundraiser available — but there are only so many candy bars and tubs of cookie dough a student can realistically sell!
We are reaching out once again to ask for your support in helping make this final senior-year performance possible. Every donation, big or small, helps bring her one step closer to Chicago. And if you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this fundraiser makes a tremendous difference.
Thank you for continuing to cheer Lyla on in her music journey. Your encouragement and generosity truly mean the world to our family.
