Help a beloved Teacher Walk Again After Life-Altering Accident

On March 30, 2025, our beloved teacher and Friend Lykama was involved in a life altering accident that resulted in the loss of her leg below the knee and foot. This tragedy has left her facing imonths of recovery therapy and major lifestyle adjustments, but her spirit remains unshaken.

Lykama is not just a teacher. She is a mentor, role model and source of life for every student who has walked through her classroom doors. With 15 years of dedication to education, her passion for teaching and nurturing young minds has touched the hearts of so many.

The accident caused serious injuries that required an emergency amputation below the knee. She now needs extensive physical therapy and prosthetic Limb and modifications to her home to make it accessible. The sudden and overwhelming changes, bring significant financial strain, but we’re standing in the gap for her.

Despite this traumatic event, Lykama is filled with hope. She is determined not to let this ailment handicap, her physically or spiritually. Her faith is strong. Her heart is full and she is already setting her sights on returning to the classroom She loves so much. She longs to continue pouring into her students Walking beside them not just physically but emotionally and academically.
