Hello friends and family,

As you may or may not know our daughter Lydia's apartment building caught fire June 28, 2021 and her apartment is a total loss. Some of her belongings were in storage but all of her essentials were in the apartment. Her bed, laptop, clothes, shoes, camera, food, hygiene and bath items etc. are gone. In addition to losing her belongings, she was trapped inside the apartment for 15 minutes and suffered some burns when carried out by a fireman. These injuries required treatment in the ER and then a follow up with the U of U's burn unit. Lydia had only planned to stay in that apartment for a few months before moving to a studio apartment nearby so she had no renters insurance for this temporary living space.

Lydia is a student and is working three jobs but needing everything all at once is just not possible. All money raised will go towards essentials such as a new mattress/bedding, a laptop for school, getting her into a new apartment and medical expenses. We have had many inquire about how to help, we are grateful for anything you can give to help Lydia rise from the ashes and start over. Thank you!!
