Help Lydia Recover from Fire

My sister, Lydia Huff, is a kind and beautiful widow who has survived a series of tragic events. This week her Antioch house was left uninhabitable by a fire. Her son sustained some burns in trying to put out the fire. Thankfully her two little pups and elderly cats survived. She lost an uncountable amount of personal and treasured items.

While Lydia has homeowners’ insurance, there are many gaps. For instance, the insurance company is setting her up with temporary housing and while they will cover the rent, the house requires a $4500 security deposit. Lydia is retired and on a fixed income and the mounting costs and loss are overwhelming.
