In August of 2025, Lydia had an ankle injury from soccer that required an x-ray. During the appt the doctor found a spot on her tibia that had swelling and wanted to x-ray that as well. This is where they found a mass on her tibia that turned out to be cancerous, osteosarcoma.

Lydia underwent surgery to remove part of her tibia and replaced with a cadaver bone and metal. She is non-weight bearing for 12 weeks and unable to drive due to it being on her right leg making it so she is unable to work and pay her bills.

Before this diagnosis, Lydia received a scholarship to play soccer in college in Washington. She has worked since she was 14yrs old and has always been a hard worker.

She is currently back home in Boise recovering as it will be a long road ahead. However she still has her apartment and bills to pay for during this time.

Any help for Lydia is greatly appreciated and helps ease the burden on her.
