Hi, everyone! I started this Go Fund Me for my cousin Lydia. Lydia was born with Vater Syndrome. She also has a tethered spinal cord, scoliosis and several other challenges. This means Lydia has limited mobility and has had many surgeries. Lillie, Lydia's mom, is a single mother. She works hard and strives to give Lydia everything she needs to have normal experiences we all take for granted. She is also preparing Lydia to become an independent adult despite her disabilities. Lydia just turned 16! Currently Lillie transports Lydia to and from medical visits near and far in her 2005 Mazda SUV. The money from this Go Fund Me page will be used to purchase a van equipped with Braunability modifications that will make transport easier and eventually give Lydia the ability to drive independently. These vans are extremely expensive. I know the Goal is BIG! I also know there are many people out there that love to help and possibly even relate to the financial strains of constant medical care of a loved one. Every little bit helps!!!
