Hello :)

My name is Lydia and I have Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, Ehler- Danlos syndrome and Degenerative Disc Disease. All of these medical conditions contribute to an inability to stand or walk for more than ten minutes at a time.

I currently have a generic hospital style wheelchair, however those models are not designed for regular and independent use. My doctors have informed me that by using this chair, I am furthering the degeneration of my spine. Despite this, my insurance refuses to cover a new custom wheelchair designed for independence and safety.

I am fundraising to order a custom chair from the single most affordable company’s out there; not a wheelchair. While 2k is a very good price compared to other companies, it is still a good chunk of money. Anything you can give to help me reach my goal of making my life as safe, accessible, and enjoyable as possible would be appreciated greatly!
