Help Lydia and Nathan Memorialize Baby Russell Morrow

Lydia Morrow is a devoted daughter, loving wife, aspiring nurse, and, above all, a newly expecting mother to her 5 and a half-month-old son, Russel Wayne Morrow. On October 25th, 2024, Lydia was making her way home from work near Highway 267 and Highway 16 by Jerseyville, Illinois. An opposing driver traveling in the wrong direction on the highway collided with her car head-on, causing severe injuries to Lydia and leading to the tragic loss of her son, Russell. Her leg is broken, and her ankle is severely shattered, necessitating multiple surgeries and future planned procedures due to the critical nature of the situation. It is with profound sorrow that we share the heartbreaking news of Lydia and Nathan's loss of their beloved son, Russell. We are grateful that Lydia is awake and aware, even though she is experiencing significant pain. The journey to her physical recovery will be lengthy and will need ample support and encouragement along the way.

Lydia and her husband, Nathan, have been looking forward to welcoming their baby boy, Russell, into the world. He was expected to arrive in March 2025. It is with deep sorrow that we acknowledge the passing of Russell into the embrace of his Heavenly Father.

Lydia is facing a challenging time and will be unable to work for an extended period, making it difficult for her to complete her schooling.
