The picture is of my mother, Luz. Luz was always the one to do anything for her three girls. She was the light in the room with her smile and laughter.

She has been battling GI cancer since 2016. She had a hemorrhagic stroke in January, and her three daughters have been fighting hard to get the care she needed. Due to losing insurance coverage and her cancer, she has deteriorated quickly these last two weeks. Our father, Samuel, left our world suddenly last September, and we have been trying to make the best out of a bad situation.

She is currently in hospice care, and she will live on by her three daughters, Alexandra (26), Sophia (17), and Gabby (13). We are grateful to whatever is donated to cover cremation cost and small family memorial.
