Luz Elena Londoño, my friend in Colombia, has dedicated her life to rescuing animals in need. Inspired by her father, she began taking in dogs and cats from the streets, giving them a second chance at life. Every day, she faces heartbreaking situations—animals suffering from neglect, hunger, and illness. Luz Elena brings them to the veterinarian, cares for them, and does everything she can to help them recover. Now, she has over 60 dogs and many cats under her care, and the need for help is greater than ever.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward medical expenses, medicines, food, vaccines, and building a safe shelter for these animals. They deserve so much more than a life on the streets, and Luz Elena is determined to give them a place where they can heal and thrive.
