Hi, my name is Lux, and I’m in the Broadcasting program at Ivy Hawn Charter School.

I’ve discovered that I really love film and broadcasting. I enjoy learning how videos are made, working behind the camera, and telling stories that can make people feel something. Being part of this program has helped me grow my confidence and find something I’m passionate about.

I’ve been given the opportunity to attend the 2026 Student Television Network (STN) Convention, where students from all over the country come together to learn about broadcasting. At the convention, I’ll get to take part in hands-on workshops, fun production challenges, and learn from professionals who work in television, film, and digital media.

The total cost for me to attend is $600, and I am working hard to raise the money by these deadlines:

$50 deposit due by 12/17

$250 due by 1/14

$300 due by 2/11
