Help Lush Lumaj's Family After His Sudden Loss

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Lush Lumaj, beloved husband, father, son, and brother. On June 29, 2025 Lush suffered an unexpected and massive heart attack.

EMTs and hospital staff fought valiantly to save him, but God called him home far too soon anyway. Our Lush left us at just 52 years old.

Born in Vermosh, Albania, Lush exemplified the values of hard work, faith, and family.

Lush achieved the American dream:

He married the love of his life and together they raised two wonderful children—Fjorentina (15) and Markeljan (12).

He worked hard and saved enough to purchase a home, giving his family stability.

He cared for his parents, supporting them financially, emotionally, and they lived with him. After his fathers passing two years ago; his elderly mother now faces the unimaginable pain of losing her only son.

The only brother among four sisters, Lush was the cherished centerpiece of the Lumaj family.

Every niece and nephew adored “Daja Lush,” the fun-loving handyman who could fix anything!

We—his nieces and nephews—have organized this GoFundMe on behalf of his wife, children, and mother.

Lush’s passing was completely unexpected. He was active, strong, and never missed a day’s work. Now his family faces:

This fundraiser is being organized by Julie (Xhuljana) Bacaj, Lush’s niece. All funds will be transferred directly to his wife, Vasilika Lumaj, who is being added as the beneficiary. She will use the funds to support funeral expenses, the household, and care for their two children, Fjorentina and Markeljan.
