Hi everyone. As you know, I have a serious illness that has prevented me from being a mother or enjoying life outside of my bed for the past year. Day by day, this disease is slowly taking away my ability to live the life I want with my family. My partner has been incredible, taking on the roles of both father and mother, and I feel so much guilt watching him carry this burden while I struggle just to get through each day. We had some savings, but they have all gone toward my care and medical needs. My four-year-old cries for me to get out of bed, but I can barely walk without fainting. It breaks my heart to see my family hurting because of my illness. I am asking for help so I can get a medical device that could give me a chance to get better, support my partner, and be there for my kids. I worry every day about what the future holds, and I pray for the strength to see my children grow up. If I can't get this device, I'm afraid I won't have much time left.
