Hi, my name is Lupe Sermeno, I am a LVN nurse that has served the Veterans Affairs Medical Center for the past 9+ years. I am a mother to 4 and a grandmother to 6 residing in the city of El Paso, Texas. I have recently been diagnosed with Liver disease, and I am looking for help in order to receive treatment.

I’m in stage four liver cirrhosis and I will be evaluated to see how soon I will need a transplant. Due to this major health concern it is necessary I fly to Florida to receive the appropriate and quality treatment.

Receiving treatment will begin with an evaluation. However, due to the circumstances of my health, receiving evaluation, then treatment, and last the steps through recovery, will all take about a month and a half.

Therefore I am looking for help in covering medical travel expenses for hotel, food, caregiving, as well covering the rest of the expense to treating my liver disease treatment.
